About Us

The Feet in Motion Podiatry clinic is a modern podiatry facility located in Belrose on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. The Feet in Motion story is new, although it has a history that reaches back to over 25 years ago when Wendy Dixon, Podiatrist and owner of Feet in Motion, began her podiatry career.

Wendy graduated from Lincoln Institute of Health Science (now Latrobe University) in Melbourne with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Podiatry) in 1987, achieving an award for excellence in undergraduate studies in Podiatry and completed Post Graduate studies in Pharmacology for Podiatry.

During her Podiatry career, Wendy has worked in community health, public hospitals, diabetes education centres and private practice. Wendy commenced her Melbourne based private practice in 1989, which grew to become one of the largest in outer eastern Melbourne with 3 clinic sites and 14 staff. Wendy has a reputation of providing a high standard of care, with honesty and integrity.

Wendy has had a long connection with the Australian Podiatry Association, having been elected to Australian Podiatry Association Council (Victoria), Vice Chairperson of Diabetes Special Interest Group, Executive Member of Australian Salaried Podiatrist Group and Assistant Editor of Australian Podiatry Association newsletter. She has developed a Diabetes Education package and developed and implemented a preventative/education podiatry model. Wendy has delivered many presentations and workshops to staff, colleagues, conferences and community events.

Wendy has now relocated with her family to Sydney and wants to share her skill and expertise with you. And that is where the Feet in Motion story begins.
